Project Overview
Client / Industry: Flypayout – Airline Compensation / Travel Tech
Scope: Brand identity + full SaaS product design (Desktop + Mobile)
Role: Lead UI/UX Designer (Brand, Product UX, UI, Design System, Motion/Interactions)
Flypayout is a full-scale airline compensation SaaS platform designed to simplify complex claim processes through a clear, scalable UI/UX system. The project included complete brand creation and the design of an enterprise-level web application with 80+ desktop screens and a fully responsive mobile experience. All designs were delivered as high-fidelity, component-based systems ready for JavaScript development and production implementation.

Challenge
Designing an airline compensation platform presents a dual challenge: building immediate user trust while managing highly complex operational workflows behind the scenes.
The product needed to simplify a legally and procedurally complex process, guide users clearly through claim submission, and provide transparency throughout the entire claim lifecycle — all while supporting internal claim management, document handling, and administrative operations at scale.
Key challenges included:
- Establishing trust in a legally sensitive, finance-adjacent product
- Designing clear user flows for complex claim logic
- Supporting a large feature set without overwhelming the interface
- Creating a scalable system capable of handling 80+ screens
- Ensuring a clean, unambiguous handoff to the development team
Solution
The solution was a complete brand and product design system built specifically for scale, clarity, and long-term growth.
I designed a strong, trustworthy brand identity and translated it into a high-performance SaaS UI with a consistent visual language, reusable components, and clearly defined interaction patterns. The platform was designed desktop-first, with a fully responsive mobile experience adapted for key user flows.
Every part of the interface was structured to feel secure, transparent, and easy to understand – from the initial eligibility check to claim tracking and administrative review – while remaining flexible enough to support future product expansion.
Brand Identity &
Creative Direction
The project started with the creation of a complete brand identity.
The visual direction focused on trust, clarity, and modern technology, ensuring the product felt professional, reliable, and credible from the first interaction.

UX Architecture &
Product Structure
Before moving into detailed UI design, the entire product was structured into clear modules and workflows.
This ensured that both user-facing and internal systems were logically organized and scalable.

UI Design & Design System
To maintain consistency across a large product surface, the platform was designed using a component-based UI system.
All screens were built from a shared set of reusable components, ensuring visual and functional consistency across the entire product.

Motion, Interactions & Prototyping
High-fidelity prototypes were created to define user interactions and system behavior.
This included transitions between steps, micro-interactions, feedback states, loading indicators, and UI responses to user actions.
Developer Handoff
All designs were delivered as production-ready assets prepared for JavaScript implementation.
The handoff included structured design files, reusable components, interaction notes, and export-ready assets, enabling smooth and efficient development without design gaps.
